Berlin Winter
Nacht
Berlin Winter Nacht, named after the historic city of
Berlin, Germany, is my German Shepherd angel. Born in April 1994 in
Oklahoma City, OK, he came to live with me in August of 1994.
Over the years, Berlin was not only my furry roommate,
but he became my hiking buddy, my security system, my child, my date-chooser,
and most of all, my best friend.
Sadly, he passed away in April 2003 just 4 days after
his birthday. However, he still lives on in my heart. I have always
believed he was and is my guardian angel.
The recipe I use today is the same one I used when
making treats for Berlin. He would sit in the kitchen by the oven, waiting
for the treats to finish baking. In his memory, I wanted to share these
morsels with other well-loved dogs and their humans.
Galadriel Kitty
M'ow
In October 2002, a cry came from our back
field. Thinking we would find an injured animal, my husband and I hurried
to see if we could help. To our surprise, out jumped a 3 month old kitten!
She climbed up my husband's pant leg, climbed onto his shoulders, and then
started walking around and purring. Being the saps that we are, we took
her in, and she has since decided to stay.

Marley
Marley is 8 years old and joined our family on in Spring 2005 after his short stay at the Oshkosh Area
Humane Society. He loves riding in the car, going for a walk, playing
fetch, and snuggling. We are so excited to have him in our lives! He
really is quite the character and enjoys playing with Galadriel Kitty M'ow.
Nomi Sunrider
This is Nomi Sunrider. She was
born in the Spring of 2006. She's a bundle of energy and definitely keeps
everyone on their toes!
The
Bluesman
"Blue" was rescued from a shelter in western
Wisconsin. He is 6 months younger than Nomi - so needless to say, our
house is never boring!
The 'Tiel
Brothers - Pippin and Joshah
Pippin is our 8 year old
cockatiel who is named after the character in Lord of the Rings. He's very
energetic, talkative and loves to fly around the house.
Joshah (Yoe-shuh) is our
newest baby, born in January 2006. Joshah is Hebrew
for "Jehovah's gift" and he's definitely that! He's a sweet little
guy with lots of personality
and energy!
The Bird Family
Throughout the years, we
have had the wonderful opportunity to be parents to several other birds.

I miss them every day
and feel that it is only appropriate that they be remembered as a part of our
family and business.
